National Autistic Society

The National Autistic Society Accreditation programme provides an autism-specific quality assurance programme for hundreds of organisations throughout the UK and across the world. By providing a unified standard of excellence and a systematic framework for continuous self-examination and development, NAS aim to continuously improve the quality of service provision for autistic people.

Here at Barbara Priestman Academy, our next accreditation review will be 6th,7th and 8th March 2018.

As part of the Autism Accreditation assessment, NAS carry out a survey of autistic people, their families and other professionals who work with our academy. This is done on-line using the following links:

Autistic People
This is intended for any autistic young person who attends our academy. It can be completed by the autistic person or with support. Where possible the person who helps the autistic person to complete the questionnaire should be independent from the academy which is being assessed.

Families of autistic people
This is intended for the family member who represents the interests of the autistic person to complete.

This is intended for any professionals who work with our academy as part of a multi-professional team but are not directly employed by us.

We would greatly appreciate your time in completing a short questionnaire which should take no longer than five minutes to complete.
Closing date for questionnaires to be completed is Thursday 1st March 2018.
